~linen & ruffles~

Happy Tuesday!!

I'm so excited to show you some
linen & ruffles......

I've been having a lot of fun creating new designs, sewing them up & getting
things listed in Etsy!!

first up to show you is the "Emma"
chair slipcover

Emma is skirted and romantic in feel.....

she's made of 100% pure linen, and
is available in white, ivory, natural or oatmeal.

she has simple grosgrain ribbon ties in the back......
and oozes with shabby chic yummy-ness....
shabby, romantic and feminine~

you can find Emma here

~*~

Now I've got some new pillows to show you!

but before I show you the latest,
I need to introduce you to the person who
is making all this creative energy possible!!

Until I found her, I was so bogged down in sewing,
that the creative juices had just DRIED UP!

I don't want to sound negative.....my shoppe has been
a huge blessing......and I have LOVED making your items.....
but I was sewing pretty much 24x7.....which left very little time for anything else....like creating...
or grocery shopping, cleaning, decorating, gardening, cooking....*ahem*....
taking kids places....etc...etc....
so I had to change things up a bit and, I truly believe
an answer to both our prayers, I found Diane!

let's just say that Diane is a sewing super ninja.....
in fact, I am pretty certain all kinds of elves & such
come out the minute she starts to work!

she is an expert seamstress & is now using her
crazy super ninja sewing skills to sew up a storm
for me!!  YaY me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so I am looking forward to more time for creating,
blogging, decorating & everything else in life!

now let me show you a few more goodies that are newly
listed!

these are more along the lines of simple, french farmhouse style.....

I really love the graphic on this pillow.....
it's always fun going shopping for graphics!

well, that's just a small sampling for you.....
it seems blogger won't let me add the rest of my pictures &
after messing with it for an hour.....I gotta give in for
today!

Grainsack pillows are up next.....
I've been procrastinating cutting them because they are so beautiful......but they are now on the chopping block ;)

Have a great week friends!

xo,

Shellagh

Those pillows are just fabulous! And I really love the tree skirts. I want some sooooo bad but knowing my two boys, they'd be demolished within minutes. Sigh...

Shellagh- Good for you for hiring a seamstress to help you out! I think that is probably one of the wisest decisions you could have made. There is nothing like being so overworked that the fun is gone from your life...and I think that is probably where you were headed.

Your Emma is a lovely piece and I love your pillows. Will wait to see what comes off the "chopping block" next! Hugs- Diana
