~the cat's meow~

hello my bloggy friends!

what a week or 2!!
our family went on an 1800 mile road trip
last week and into this week to attend our
2nd oldest daughter's college graduation...

AND in order to be economical we took
a little car instead of our big SUV......

um....3 kiddos in the back seat of a small car
for 1800 miles.....

......well you might be able to guess how
that went......ha ha....

but we did celebrate her graduation, and
along the way saw some beautiful countryside~
and made more memories :)

I thought I would share with you this
darling little boutique...
no, I wasn't so lucky to visit it along the way ~ because it's located
in Sarasota, Florida...

It's owned by Mark & Susie Holt.

Both their store and home have been
featured in countless magazines
and you'll quickly see why!

everything shabby, chippy, frenchy & lovely!!

love the textured walls...anyone who's been
following me for awhile knows how
I love my textured walls.....

and a sink dropped into a vintage cabinet....
yummmmmy.....
on the to-do list....pronto...

chippy cabinets, chicken wire....
true love....

chandys, mirrors & pillows, oh my!

loving the aqua mattress cover and
the beautiful iron bed!

I would be perfectly happy
moving right into their store!

they also have an online boutique you can visit

I think this deck might be part of their home...
gorgeous setting...

I would like to thank all of you for your
tremendous support of my new online store!

I've been busy with orders & sewing up a storm!
I'll be adding new products in the next few days so
be sure to check back soon to see what's new!

Have a fabulous weekend girls!

xoxo,

Shellagh

HER parents!!!
This is a gorgeous
little shop. My
grandparents used
to live near Sarasota
but now we have no
relatives, there...
I'll have to peek
at their on-line shop.
Welcome home!

Glad you survived the road trip! Congratulations to your daughter!

I love The Cat's Meow and have gotten into a wee bit of trouble from going there. I did a short post about them last July when I first started blogging and featured the porch. Susie is a real sweetheart. Your post reminded me that I have not been there in a while. I think I need to remedy that!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Ahhh, family road trips. I remember feeling like you will die if you have to sit in the car one more minute! But I remember the good times more!!

What a fantastic store you've shown us. I would like to move in too!

My dream road trip would be to get to stop at every little antique store and boutique I ran into along the way and to get to stay in really, really nice hotels! :)
