~sleigh bells ring are you listening?~

Good morning bloggy friends!

I've been listening to Christmas music for a good couple weeks now!

and when I looked at these pictures again......
they totally reminded me of this song

 and

~happiness~

sleigh bells ring....are you listening?
in the lane...snow is glistening....

a beautiful site
we're happy tonight
walking in a winter wonderland

gone away is the bluebird
here to stay is a new bird

he sings a love song
as we go along

walking in a winter wonderland....

{pause.....do you have any idea how hard it is not to comment on these pictures???}

in the meadow we can build a snowman
and pretend that he is Parson Brown

he'll say: are you married?
we say: no man

-pause-

{you do recall my love of brown packing paper.....or bags....especially w/ red & white ribbon......
and OH MY HEAVENS....I love those tags!!!probably pop out the generic white ones & replace
w/ red paper???? cuuuuuute!}

-o.k. back to the music-

but you can do the job when you're in town......

later on, we'll conspire
as we dream by the fire

to face unafraid
the plans that we've made...

walking in a winter wonderland

have a fabulous day friends!

Shellagh

My heart jumped! I'm starting to get in the mood....we may have snow here in NW Indiana tomorrow!

I am totally stealing that brown paper bag and red tag thing....know where to get the red tags without having to replace the white?

Great post!

Love all the images, Shellagh. They make me dream! I love the brown bags too. Last year instead of buying gift bags, I bought brown bags with handles from the Dollar Tree and just stamped them a bit and added ribbon. So much better than the store bought stuff.

Have a happy Thanksgiving, my friend!

Shellagh,
Every SINGLE picture is perfection! My total color combo. Love it for Christmas or any other time, but the neutrals with red & white, ohhhh. Love the pots on the trees, yes also those bags with red tags. The stockings...I just bought the new French General fabric from Moda. Have you seen it? Just like those. Thanks for a great dose of holiday inspiration. Lisa

I love the simplicity of red and white at Christmas. Enjoyed your pictures so much and the Christmas song too. Thanksgiving over and I am ready to decorate for Christmas and bring on the Christmas music. I never get tired of it. Your tree's up...I am in awe. But mine is going up tonight. Or maybe tommorrow.

I LOVE all of the images, Shellagh, wow, so pretty and of course my all time favorite song. I used to sing it as I walked, as a teenager, with the snow flakes hitting my face. Funny memory. Hugs, Cindy S.

Love the red and white. I am a fool for the Target Christmas commercials and their use of red/white. You are definitely helping me get in the spirit!

I love the photos of the wrapped gifts. I was wondering if I could wrap my gifts in packing paper with a great ribbon - now I know it would look great. Nice collection of photos.
