~silver stuff~

I had the most fun on Saturday.....
one of our local thrift stores was having a

1/2 price sale!!!

yippee!!!


and you know what that means??
more yummy stuff in the shop!

I could not leave without this fabulous vintage bucket in hand~



or this gorgeous pair of silver candlestick holders....


and I about ran over a poor old guy who was just browsing....
to

 this gorgeous set of serving pieces...

Well! Didn't you just sneak in and have a really good time miss! Wow - I love the white items and the coal bucket! I'm a searcher of garden items and I would put that tucked away under a shrub somewhere or with some hens and chicks in it. Great finds...makes me want to go out! Jennifer stop in and say hi....

Oh my goodness!!! You hit the mother load!!! You've got some pretty fab finds there. I'm sure you were leaping over people to get to those goodies!!! LOL! My favorite is that awesome bucket. I can see it filled with tons of dried hydrangeas! Oh be still my heart!

They do that once in a while, hold a sale, and then you have to be on the spot!

Wow-great finds!!! Yeah I have been know to swoop in and grab a goody(very nice and polite though)...I even tried to buy a thermos(very retro looking)only to discover it still had coffee in it and belonged to the guy that was stocking the shelves at the thrift store....Don't stand still too long or I might buy you!!!LOL

I see you had as much fun last weekend with your vintage finds, as I did! One thing I did find was a beautiful vintage rose set of drapes & 2 matching twin bedspreads, so I went back and checked your posts on slipcovers and ordered both the books you used off ebay!
