This year I must plant paper whites in time for Christmas! Anyone out there had success with this?
I might be able to fit my clothes in here........
dreamy....love the blue!? although I would never think to add the dark shade....
Would love to do this for a vanity! Actually this sort of idea is on my to-do list when I'm ready to remodel our upstairs main bathroom. (of course after hubby goes to work....see 10 honest things about me :-) )
why is this picture so fabulous? why do I love it so? It's so good to know that there are so many of you out there that have my same disorder...;-)

Beautiful photos....I ADORE paperwhites...so easy to grow, you won't believe it. Get them at easytogrowbulbs.com for the best success (much better than buying them at a local home store). You can plant them in just about anything. Last year was my first really cold winter (I was from California) and the paperwhites helped me bring spring into the house all winter!

You have held on to some beautiful pictures. They are very inspiring. I just love to see red and white toile and then in the other picture the blue and white which seems to come out of nowhere. It's gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteHey Shellagh, great post & pics. Paperwhites are so very easy to grow! I grow them in any container that holds water, either in soil or simply rocks! Your girls will also enjoy watching them grow, sometimes an inch or so per day! I saw Cori's post about easytogrow.com; however, I always order the Ziva Paperwhites from K. Van Bourgondien & Sons at ttp://www.kvbwholesale.com/. Their prices are better...but, you have to order at least $50.00 (of course, I never have trouble finding stuff to order!). Paperwhites make such great gifts as well. Have a great day.
