~did you see this?~

Did you see this post from Laurie at

Well when I saw this display....I knew I had to head over to
another favorite antique store of mine....

I'm telling you these girls at Worthy Goods
are simply amazing!!!!

~Creative Geniuses~

I literally stood in their booth/window display
for
many
minutes...

just

soaking....it......all.....in.

everything was full of texture and deliciousness
and when I saw this little cutie....
I started thinking about our bedroom redo....
(click here and here  to read about it)
and how darling this might possibly be in there....

one of the neatest things they do.....
is repaint furniture but leave the tops
raw & untouched....no finish...

I am so loving that....

so we picked it up Saturday night
 and moved dressers around
and now it's loving it's new little home in our freshly revamped* almost
done* bedroom!

{seriously though...
I am about ready to freak out....
 with the nasty...
 brownish...
 orange-ish...
 moldings......
please look the other way.............:o)
  oh, and the nasty unfinished light switch...oops...}

details I'm loving....
the distressed worn out mirror....
the yummy naked wood

and the original knobs

Thanks Laurie!!

I wish I could say I'm done with our room....

but not yet....

but it is coming along & I will update you all shortly!!

Have a great week friends!

Shellagh

  5. That looks lovely! I am north of Seattle, Where is Camas? I was given two seperate pieces of mirrors like the one on that dresser, one is the arms that a mirror hangs on, the other is a mirror that does not fit. I am looking for Ideas for them! I wish they fit together, I would find a chest like that and make them go together! Lovely changes to your room, can't wait to see the finished one. Karyn

But, I think I got enough pictures that maybe I'll attempt to make some!
